15 May 2025: Put together entry page. used 98css to create window + sadgrlonline image hosting for the background. adjusted some colors & fonts.
16 May 2025: Created log page. found the right font for page headers. created marquee!
--also made part of the image map, added float to css
29 May 2025: Finally found a decent-ish background, properly formatted + linked sidebars (need to change Rex on the right to my sona when i get home!); set up inbox letter as well as the general implementation for the image map. added text shadow. lots of colors & images were added today
30 May 2025: Ok so no more inbox because of grid layout bc iiii am not going to fuck w that again. i'll put it into either a) its own separate page or b) somehow a window where it can pop up and chill there nicely. maybe inbox will be its own page?? and THAT can be its own grid??? (also siblings have approved of this. big win)
OKAY. set up inbox page, fixed more stupid grid stuff, discovered css transitions. added little inbox notification back. shit i need to rename the inbox page to something else again
31 May 2025: still need to make roadtrip page and place some random buttons as well as add tooltips on the jars. i think image map will be all the pages so: starjar, devlog, roadtrip, designated randomized meme function, birthday present archive??? & bios/refs for each of our characters. yeah. i think that's a solid list
Progress: made jars and implemented functions for star jar page. created folder + two pages for the bios, roadtrip page, tested out different features on main, log, and star jar. sussed out what image map needs.
27 June 2025 CHAT I'M COOKED IMAGE MAP DOESN'T WORK FOR HOVER EFFECTS.... so like. listen. listen. that's not. anyway. it's fine don't even WORRY about it we'll deal with that later.
30 June 2025 it's like 4 days until self imposed deadline (tater birthday) we are exploding i fear. ok so like the image map doesn't work and the birthday page ALSO doesn't work so i need to leave the image map alone and just work on the birthday page and the roadtrip page and (noises of extreme agony)
3 July 2025 happy birthday!!!!!!! i haven't finished yet lmao but it is (checks watch) 2am and we have the oc bios done enough. just like. don't zoom out. i'll fix that later. but now just roadtrip + birthday collection to get done and those two i should be able to knock out relatively easily. going to add the memes later and change the link every once in a while
3 July 2025 (p.m.) LOCKED IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! finished roadtrip page, added relevant links, added MORE links to image map. have decided to do birthday archive later on bc i haven't got a clue what to do with it yet so i've gotta let the ideas stew some more (and it's not an urgent feature that is super necessary). i did a lot! i am proud! i really hope they like this
